What problem(s) does your business solve?

Indian cuisine is comfort for me and I wanted to share that with everyone here. When I moved here I noticed that there were not so many vegetarian options. So I wanted to make sure that in our restaurant that would be a possibility. I also wanted to bust the myth that Indian food is only spicy. We can make food with any range of spice from mild to very hot.

How did you come up with your business name?

We had a few names on the line, but I wanted to play with people perception that Indian cuisine is only spicy. Our concept is to try and show the other spices that are used in our food.

When did you start your business?

We started the restaurant in June of 2022.

What drove you to start this business?

I love food and I like to personalize it so I wanted to make sure that we would be able to do that. I wanted to create a place where all types of foodies could get together and have a good time. We are starting slowly but would eventually like to add more to our bar menu if the guests would like to see that. Overall we would like to be a place where guests can come and ask for personalized food and drinks and we would be so happy to deliver that.

Anything else you’d like people to know about your business?

Mainly I would like everyone to know that Spice Lounge and Pizza does not only stand for spicy food, we like to showcase the other Indian spices that we use in our food. We love to hear feedback from our guests about what they like or what they would like to see. If you have certain things that you would like to try but they are not on our menu let us know and we will try our best. Come enjoy our buffet on August 12!
