Volunteer this Summer on Crowsnest Pass Hiking Trails
The Crowsnest Pass valley is known for its amazing, diverse recreational opportunities on incredible trails in wild spaces.
Our hiking trails connect users to waterfalls, lakes, or even more challenging routes of grand summits and hidden viewpoints. Short family-friendly hikes, trail running routes on rambling ridges, and scrambling objectives provide hiking opportunities for a variety of users.
This summer, Alberta Hiking Association is excited to receive funding from the Alberta’s Public Lands Trails Grant Program to improve hiking trails in Crowsnest Pass. Working with trail volunteers we will focus efforts on Star Creek Falls Loop Trail and the Allison Creek area.
Give back to our hiking trails. If you are interested in volunteering this summer for a couple of hours or be part of our volunteer trail work crew, lend a hand. Using hand tools provided by the Alberta Hiking Association and after receiving on-site training, we will work to improve local hiking trails. Families welcome!
Throughout the summer we will be hosting volunteer trail building events. Join our Facebook Page Crowsnest Pass - Alberta Hiking Association or contact Jenice: crowsnesthikingcoord@gmail.com to learn more.
